The essentials, before you read on.
Membership is for adults of legal drinking age. Points have no cash value. Rewards are not a promise of complimentary alcohol. Paid plans renew until you cancel, and you always see the price before you pay.
You are shown these terms and asked to accept them when you join. The privileges and rewards of each tier are revealed at launch.
01
About these terms
These terms govern The Flower Society, the membership of The Flower. They apply from the moment you join, alongside the site terms and the venue’s house rules.
Joining the launch list or reading this page does not make you a member. You become a member when you join the Society through your account and accept these terms.
02
Who can join
- Membership is for individuals of legal drinking age.
- Age is checked at the venue, in person, against valid ID. Holding an account or a membership is not proof of age.
- You need a guest account with a confirmed email address. One membership per person. Memberships cannot be shared, sold or transferred.
- Membership is separate from admission. Being a member does not guarantee entry on any night. Door policy and capacity always apply.
- Some tiers are by invitation. The venue may decline or end a membership as set out under changes and leaving.
03
Tiers
The Society has four tiers. Each reflects how well the house knows you.
- Seed. Where every member begins. Your name on the list and your place in the Society.
- Bloom. For the regulars. The room starts to recognise you.
- Orchid. For the people the room knows by name. A host who knows how you like your night.
- Black Rose. By invitation. The inner circle.
The Society page describes what members can look forward to. The privileges and rewards of each tier are revealed at launch and shown in your member area. A tier is reached through status points and may be reviewed over time. A privilege described as “where available” depends on the night.
04
Plans and billing
Membership plans, and what each includes, are shown on the membership page when the Society opens.
- Prices are shown before you pay. You see the price of a plan, and how often it is billed, before you confirm anything.
- Paid plans renew until cancelled. A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each paid period, at the price shown to you, until you cancel.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and your plan stays active until then.
- Upgrading. Moving to a higher plan starts a new billing period from the day you upgrade, at the price shown to you before you confirm.
- Price changes. If the price of your plan changes, you are told before your next renewal and can cancel before it applies.
- Payment. Payments are taken by our payment provider. Card details are never held by The Flower.
Nothing here limits any cancellation or refund rights you have under the law where you live.
05
Status points and reward points
Every member has two separate balances. They are never merged, and one cannot be converted into the other.
Status points
A measure of your standing. They determine your tier. They cannot be spent, and using a reward does not reduce them.
Reward points
A balance you can exchange for rewards. Using them lowers this balance only. Your tier is unaffected.
Each balance is kept as a running history. Every change is a dated entry that says what it came from, so you can always see how your balance was reached.
06
How points are earned
Points come from your nights at The Flower, once the venue has confirmed them:
- Attendance. Your pass is checked and you are welcomed in at the door.
- Eligible spend. A reservation or order linked to your membership that has been paid and closed by the team. What counts as eligible, and whether taxes, service charges and gratuities are included, is shown in your member area.
Once per visit and once per order. Each arrival and each paid order earns once. Checking in twice or re-entering does not earn twice.
Points are not earned on unpaid, cancelled or refunded items, and nothing in the Society is based on chance. There are no draws, spins or wagers.
The rates at which points are earned are set by the venue and shown in your member area.
07
Reversals and corrections
- If what earned the points is undone, for example a refund, a cancelled order or a check-in recorded by mistake, the matching points are reversed with a new entry that refers to the original.
- A reversal can take a reward balance down to zero and never below it. You never owe points.
- A reversal of status points can move you to a lower tier.
- The venue may correct a mistake in either balance with an entry that states the reason.
- A reversal only ever affects points. It never creates a fee, a fine or a charge to you.
If you think an entry is wrong, tell the team and it will be looked into.
08
Expiry and limits
The venue sets the following, and whatever applies is shown in your member area before it affects you.
- Expiry of reward points. Reward points may expire a set time after they are earned. Where an expiry applies, each entry shows its date.
- Tier review. Your tier may be reviewed over a period, and kept, raised or lowered at review.
- Earning limits. The venue may limit what a single visit, night or period can earn.
- Reward limits. Individual rewards may be limited in number, per member, or to a minimum tier.
09
No cash value
Points of either kind are not money and are not property. They have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold, exchanged for cash or credit, transferred to another person, pooled between members or inherited.
A reward is a specific item or courtesy offered by the venue. It cannot be exchanged for cash or for a different item unless the venue offers the substitution.
10
Alcohol and rewards
Membership rewards are not a promise of complimentary alcohol. Nothing in the Society is ever “unlimited”. Rewards centre on recognition, access, seating, food and experiences.
Any reward that involves alcohol is offered only where local rules allow it, only to members of legal drinking age, and always subject to the venue’s right to decline service. Please enjoy responsibly.
11
Using a reward
- Choosing a reward sets the points aside for it and gives you a code. Those points leave your available balance while the reward is waiting for you.
- A member of the team completes the reward at the venue.
- A reward that is not used by its stated time lapses, and the points return to your balance.
- Rewards depend on availability on the night and may be withdrawn or replaced.
12
Referrals
- Each member has a personal referral code to share with people they know.
- A new guest can be linked to one referrer only, at the time they join. You cannot refer yourself.
- A referral counts when the person you introduced is welcomed into the venue for the first time. Signing up alone does not count.
- What a qualifying referral earns is set by the venue and shown in your member area.
- Codes must not be advertised to strangers, posted in bulk or sold. Referrals made that way can be cancelled and any points reversed.
Member referrals are separate from the promoter programme, which has its own application and terms.
13
Conduct
Membership depends on being a good guest. Members are expected to:
- follow the venue’s house rules and the reasonable instructions of the team and security;
- treat the team, entertainers and other guests with respect, and never harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone;
- give truthful information and use only their own membership and pass;
- not manipulate the Society, for example with false check-ins, staged purchases and refunds, or duplicate accounts.
The venue may suspend or end a membership for a breach. The consequence of a breach is to the membership and its points. These terms never impose a fine, a fee or an automatic deduction on a member.
14
Changes and leaving
- The venue may change the Society, including tiers, earning rates, rewards and these terms. Members are told about material changes before they apply.
- The venue may pause or close the Society. If it does, members are told in advance what happens to their balances and any paid period.
- You can leave at any time. Leaving ends your tier and your points. A paid plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
- The venue may suspend a membership while it looks into suspected misuse, and may end one for a breach of these terms or the house rules.
- Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.
15
Privacy
Membership keeps your member number, tier, referral code, your two points balances and their history, the rewards you use and your referrals, alongside the visits and orders they come from. The privacy notice describes this and the choices you have, including asking for a copy of your details or their removal from your account.
Birthday recognition uses only a month and day that you choose to give. Each kind of member message has its own setting that you can turn off.
