Our aim
The Flower is a room of low light, deep colour and movement, and this site carries the same mood: a near-black palette, large serif headlines, footage of the room and motion as you scroll.
The rule on every page is that the words come first and the atmosphere is added on top. With motion reduced, on a keyboard or through a screen reader, you get the same words, the same links and the same working form as everyone else.
We work to level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2. We do not claim formal conformance, and we keep improving. If something gets in your way, we want to hear about it.

In more detail
| What you get | How it works | |
|---|---|---|
| Structure | One main heading per page, headings in order, landmarks for header, main and footer. | Long pages have a chapter list that links to each section. |
| Never colour alone | Labels such as Coming soon are always written as words. | Colour reinforces the label. It is never the only signal. |
| Touch targets | Main buttons, form controls and navigation links are at least 44 pixels tall. | Text links inside paragraphs and a few small secondary buttons are smaller. |
| Zoom and reflow | Pages reflow to a single column on narrow screens. | Type is sized in relative units and scales with your browser setting. |
| Tables | Comparison tables have captions and header cells. | Wide tables scroll inside their own box, which can be focused and scrolled by keyboard. |
| Simple browsers | The words of every page are in the page itself and can be read with JavaScript off. | The launch list form and the FAQ answers need JavaScript. |
| Timing | Nothing on these pages times out. | When you reserve, any time limit on completing your booking is shown clearly on screen. |
Still improving
We would rather tell you where the site can still be better than have you find out the hard way. These are the things we know about and are working on.

If you use any of these and something gets in your way, your report goes to the top of the list.
The venue
Tell us before your night, and we will plan it with you.
Getting in, where you sit, how close you are to the sound, a companion or an assistance animal: let the team know what would make your night easier before you arrive.
Access details for the building, including the way in and the facilities inside, will be published here with the opening. Until then, please ask before you rely on a particular arrangement.
The room is made up of lounge sections with low sofas and low tables, private side rooms, velvet rope and wall screens. The light is low, strongly coloured and always changing, with stars moving across the main hall, and the music is played at volume. The patio is the place to step outside, catch the air and hear each other.
With the opening, this page will set out the way in, any changes in level, restrooms, seating options, quieter corners, lighting effects, and how we welcome companions and assistance animals.
Ask us. The contact page shows how to reach the team with an access request. Every request is welcome, and it helps us get the details right for the guests who come after you.

Your feedback is used to make the site and the night better for the next guest.
Planning an occasion with access needs?
The celebration request has a notes field that reaches a person on the team. Put your requirements there, and your request and the reply stay together.
